Hi @telaholcomb that is the “screenshot is ready” workflow event, not the workflow action to start generating the screenshot.

To use that workflow action you can for example place a button element on your page and click “add workflow”. Inside the workflow you will find the screenshot action to generate a screenshot. When the screenshot is generated the “screenshot is ready” event will be triggered.

Here is an example that I created in one of my apps of creating buttons that do what you asked regarding switching between time frames. Check the upper right corner of the chart.

For instance, I would like to place an icon at a specific price point on the candlestick.
When I click this icon, I would be able to access and read the note I have taken.

You can add markers to the chart, but these markers are not clickable at this moment. So I do not think there is a way to add notes to the chart like you described unfortunately

Hi @Thimo , I just wanted to circle back on this potential feature to define a start & end range for a chart. One case scenario is that i want to plot a variety of calculated support and resistance lines on the chart and so when the chart opens, all of them can be seen. As it defaults now, many of those lines would be out of view and invisible to the user’s eye. They wouldn’t know they exist.

Hi @underhill.dan, I have spend some time going through the library documentation and I found a way to add the min/max values for the price scale! Please update to version 1.2.0 and you will see these new fields:

On the elements:

Make sure to fill in both the min and max value if you want to use this feature!

This is fantastic! Thank you for checking on this. This feature has many real world applications that make charts better. As a programmer myself who routinely gets asked to update features to my apps, I know there can be so many requests for this stuff. Thanks to checking into it and finding a way. I will definitely be using this.

Thanks once again for the Min/Max bit.

Now, another challenge to keep you busy, lol. From one of my financial data providers, I receive coordinates that pertain for drawing trendlines, and for also creating a box that identifies candlestick patterns.

The data comes in as Point AT: Unix Time, Point AP: Price
Then it does the same for Points B, C, D, etc. for drawing shapes.

Would there be a way to somehow add the presence of a trendline onto a chart using Points A & B. Likewise, would there be a way to draw a box using Points A, B, C & D?

I know it could be a challenge, but it could really be useful for those kind of tasks. This is not any kind of urgent request, just a really “super nice to have.”

Let me know your thoughts.

I am wondering if possible to sync the time axis of 2 charts when scrolling x axis. For example, I have price candlestick as the upper chart and the line chart showing RSI indicator below it, and their time axis is aligned. But when scrolling the time axis, the 2 charts behave separately. I am wondering if there is a way to sync the scrolling behavior, so that the 2 charts always showing in the same time scale. Thanks.

Hi @yachuigo! I have done some research and I don’t think this feature it supported by the JS library that it used yet. I have written it down so if I notice it gets supported I will see if it can be added to the plugin!

@kisa.sakamaki you need to use a UNIX timestamp. This is a list of numbers. This should be indicated by the issue checker in your editor.
