[New plugin] Beautiful Customizable Charts and Graphs (ApexCharts.js)

Hey @thimo, I must be missing something, but my treemap just doesn’t render. I have the correct data formats and am using the same grouping for both axes and no errors are shown by Bubble; but it still doesn’t appear.

I’ve confirmed using a repeating group that the expression I’m using is accurate too.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I will send you a PM so we can take a better look at the problem you are having!

The addition of custom tooltips is a huge deal for me, thank you, Thimo! I was wondering if anyone has an example of that in a public editor? I’d love to see how the workflows get triggered based on hovering of a Data Point. Thank you!

@p11 Yes there is! You can see a demo at the bottom of the ‘light mode’ section of the editor. You can see the field to add the group ID at the bottom of the chart properties.

Couple things to keep in mind: Make sure that the custom bubble group is visible (you can hide it behind a group for example). Also make sure that it is somewhat close to the chart (in the same group for example)

I need to display an organizational chart, but no plugin gives me that option.

Update 6.0.0 - New chart!

I have added the Bubble chart! This chart supports multiple data series and you can append unlimited more via workflows. You can see the demo page to see it in action:

Hi @Thimo,

Thanks for the latest updates.

Is there a way to get a gradient fill in the area chart, so that I can implement this kind of design:

Hi @andrew.mcdonagh,

A specific gradient fill around a certain point like in your example is unfortunately not possible, but you can get very close replicating that design with the plugin

Hi @Thimo

Ok thanks for confirming.

How about the area chart fill colour (not the tooltip) which is currently just a solid colour. Could you add a gradient to it?

@andrew.mcdonagh the ‘line chart’ does support the gradient color for the stroke of the chart. I will take a look if the Area chart also supports this!

Great, many thanks @Thimo!

Hi @Thimo,

Just noticed an odd behaviour with the Donut chart.

If the ‘Section border Color’ is set to be 100% transparent, then the border disappears as if the Border Width was set to zero.

Is this expected behaviour?

Eg - with colour transparency set to Zero

Eg with colour transparency set to 100%

Hi @andrew.mcdonagh ,

Are you sure this is my chart plugin? I don’t recognize these particular setting names. In my chart plugin (donut) these settings look like this:

Oh you’re right @Thimo!

Sorry, I thought I was using your plugin for the donut!

Just got to say, your charts plugin is awesome.

I swapped out the other one and replaced their donut chart with you plugins.

Plus the area chart from your plugin is easy to configure nearly completely into what I wanted.

The only thing I can’t get the area chart to do, is expand to fill the entire width. There’s a gap on either side. Any pointers on if it’s possible?

The chart looks great!

You can enable ‘sparkline’ if you haven’t already to reduce the margins. If you don’t want to enable sparkline or if you want to reduce the padding even more, there are 4 padding options for the chart where the default is ‘20’ (under ‘grid options’). These can be set to 0 or even a negative value!

Thanks. It works well in the app.

Yes I saw those settings, but didn’t think to use negative values! That’s awesome idea! Thanks.

@Thimo I have been using this plugin for almost a year and it is amazing. Many thanks to you.

I generally have some visualization problems when attempting to use the legend. I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the font size and have more control over the location of the legend (e.g. allow some offset to the preset location options)? Maybe I am missing something on the font size but I can’t seem to find any param for this in the config.

Happy new year!

Hi @rivergalli, great to hear that you are enjoying the plugin!

I have pushed an update (6.2.0) for you that gives you access to the following properties regarding the legend (‘X offset’, ‘Y offset’ and ‘Font size’):
