Update…

It seems this issue is related to the improved rendering pipeline experimental feature [announced back in August](http://forum.bubble.io/t/new-experimental-performance-enhancements/218232). I enabled it a couple weeks ago and (against my usual policy) decided to deploy to live since it seemed stable. All of a sudden, it started flaking out today. I disabled it, and the issue has gone away. Seems it’s not quite ready for prime time after all. Lesson [re-]learned.
