Not a bug but a feature suggestion to allow change list in make changes to thing

I have experienced this a lot I have some items and I have a list both in variables form not in the database. When I want to add a new item to that list I cannot find a direct way to that until I save one of them to the database. Make changes to the thing does not allows to add things to a list that’s really weird and frustrating

I mean in a custom state I have a list of things. In another custom state, I have a thing. I add data to the thing using update thing workflow but, in case of adding that thing to the list I cannot find a way to add new element to thee list in custom state

If your custom state is a list, and you already have item in it
custom state:plus item (new item to add)
You also have operator for minus item (and also minus list, merge list options)

Again, I don’t understand what you are doing. Your action is make change to a thing not to a list of thing. Please share.more details of what you want to do exaxtly. Maybe screenshot of your settings and workflow.

In case of make change to list of thing I get a problem that it changes some attribute of whole list, there is no option to insert item in list there as well. So, the thing I want to change is a list, I want to insert an element to a list. That list is in custom state.
