Open in a new tab for a "Link" element not working properly

I’ve been working with Bubble and using the Link visual element. I enabled the “Open in a new tab” feature, so clicking the link should only open in a new tab. However, I’ve encountered a bug where the link opens twice—once in the current tab and again in the new tab.
Has anyone experienced this issue or know how to fix it? Any advice would be appreciated!

Instead of adding link element you should add button and then add workflows. It will work.

I know it can be done using either attaching workflow to a “text” element or a workflow to a “button”. But I want to do it from the “link” as I am optimizing my Bubble App
