Page does not scroll to element when selecting element in elements tree

Is there a way to turn this feature back on or is this a bug? It’s been happening for a couple days now.

Sorry you’re experiencing an unexpected behavior. The general rule with the Bug category is as follow:

  1. If you’re not sure it’s a bug, and want confirmation from the community, please go ahead and post here
  2. If you’re 100% sure this is a bug, because you see a message ‘We’ve hit a temporary bug’ or if an action never ends, go straight to our Bug Report Form, it’s a better way to tell us about the issue so that w can fix it.

you should submit a bug report. The more people bubble hear from about this the better the chance is they will put in a fix…it has been brought to their attention by numerous others via the forum for the past week or more.

It’s working for me. Clicking once on an element in the tree scrolls to it on the page and vice versa. However, note the following:

  • It will not automatically show the property editor if it’s not already visible. To open the PE, you must double click the element on the page or its icon in the elements tree.

  • If the element is hidden, it will not automatically unhide it. Instead, you must click the “eye” icon.

The above behavior is known and intended.
