Parent focused Bubble Website build

Bubble.io Expert Needed — SaaS Finalization + Make.com + YouTube API

Hello! I’m building a parent-focused SaaS product (Bubble.io) and need an experienced Bubble developer to help finalize the app and integrations.

The core app already exists on Bubble. This is not a from-scratch build.

Scope includes:

  • Finalizing Bubble app structure (data types, privacy rules, backend workflows)

  • Polishing the website/app UI for production readiness (responsive, clean, trustworthy — light design, not a redesign)

  • Connecting and validating Make.com scenarios

  • Properly integrating the YouTube Data API (API key + OAuth already partially configured)

  • Ensuring reliable API calls, error handling, and basic rate-limit protection

  • Reviewing anything “missing” before launch (security, performance, UX gotchas)

  • Providing brief documentation or Loom walkthrough so I can maintain it

What I’m looking for:

  • Strong Bubble experience (SaaS apps, not just landing pages)

  • Real experience with Make.com / Integromat

  • Comfortable working with external APIs and OAuth

  • Practical, efficient — I don’t want over-engineering

Engagement details:

  • Hourly, capped scope (expected ~10–20 hours)

  • Immediate start preferred

  • Goal: get this app to a stable, launch-ready state

Please include:

  • 1–2 Bubble SaaS projects you’ve worked on

  • Briefly how you usually approach API + Make integrations

Thanks!

Jon

Hey @jongrreat :waving_hand:

Would love to help but could you maybe give us a little more info. Did you build this yourself? Another freelancer?

Trying to understand the whole picture here.

How much of it is in make.com and why?

Hopefully someone will be willing to take on the project for you. Not everyone is willing to jump into a project that is half finished.

Totally fair questions — happy to clarify.

Yep, built myself this afternoon just to be able to visualize the concept. The initial build/layout in Bubble is solid, just need someone with experience to put it all together and help me get things live.

Make.com is used as a lightweight orchestration layer for external APIs (mainly YouTube). Bubble remains the system of record — Make just handles API sequencing, retries, and normalization so Bubble workflows stay clean and reliable. Happy to consider using Bubble for some of the API integration, but I’m relatively new to this and Make was recommended to handle the YouTube API I need.

thanks for the response!

So you just built it with AI then?

Yep! Is that problematic?

Yeah. That just helps us to understand how much is actually done then. To me, that means that basically it just visually looks ok but probably nothing is working. It probably is about 10% done and I highly doubt you could get a full working MVP with 10-20 hours.

Understood, thanks for your insights. What do you find to be the typical hours spent for a relatively straight forward MVP?

It varies based on complexity but a typical MVP can be 80-100 hours. I can sometimes get it to be less for people if we work really closely and make sure we focus on the truly important features. So just keep that in mind. It also depends on who you hire. If they are new to Bubble, you can expect to double or triple the hours. Hope that helps a bit.

Awesome, thank you. Could you DM me pricing and some past project examples?
