Is there a noticeable difference between the performance/smoothness of the preview/test version and the deployed live version? I work with an external SQL database, so I don’t have any issues with data loading times. It’s more about the smoothness of animations (fade-ins, slide-ins, etc.) and the fading in and out of groups.
On Mac and Chrome, it’s still within acceptable limits, but on my Windows desktop, many things run very clunky. Animations sometimes stutter/lag a bit.
Elsewhere, on a page with are larger tables, where a skeleton loader is displayed during loading times, Here, it happens rather randomly that both groups flash for a brief moment, even though this should not be possible based on the state alone.
Will these issues be resolved with the switch to the live version?
What are your experiences in general with the difference between version testing and live?
