I think this is an issue with Bubble, there’s been an error appear in the console which is breaking the playability of all videos. The error reads this…
The arrow indicates an older version of the videoJS library that isn’t in the latest version of the plugin. It should be loading v7.17.1 - All my demo pages are still working and not reporting this but I know a few others are seeing it and we’re all using the latest release of the plugin.
I’ll keep monitoring it but just wanted to let anyone who is reading this know!
Same site for some pages seem to be working on mobile but not on desktop.
Hi, so this is already present and enabled by default within the “Create upload URL (MUX)” request.
When you want to get at the MP4 (or download the renditions as they’re called), you may need to adjust your backend workflow so it picks up on the data. Actually I have some fully populated JSON which I can send to your backend workflow to setup all the fields if you were to click the Detect button and give us the URL.
That all looks fine to me! The mp4_support parameter behind that request does have the value set to standard so you should be able to get at the mp4 file when using it. I just didn’t make it a configurable option.
I’m currently building Dynamic- YouTube - Automatic start playing and end , from any mobile. The sound has to be mute, depending on the browser for Auto play to work - is there work around of this to make happen automatically?
Thank you so much for the fast reply. The video creation settings work great, what is currently missing is on the video.js player controls. It looks like it needs to have {html5: {vhs: { experimentalLLHLS: true }}} added in order for the low latency stream to be handled correctly by the player.
One of our advisors (who is a streaming engineer at hulu) looked into performance of the low latency streams and recommended that as a solution for low latency support in the video.js player.
I’m playing with it at the moment, I’ve added the new config in but I don’t see any performance gains. It might be because my setup isn’t particularly great, but if you want I can push the update so you can play with it to.
Of course, let me know too!
I’m currently seeing it take a good 15-20secs before I start to see myself in the player.
It’s now pushed, you may need to refresh the editor after the update. Maybe I can test your URL also.
+1 that you’ve also got other users SUPER excited for this
Also, I’ve looked up and down for ‘waveform mode’ and can’t seem to find it. @jgh3 's screenshot proves to me the functionality is possible but I can’t seem to discover how to implement it.
Any help from either of you?
EDIT: Thanks to some screenshots between your conversation with each other, I was able to find how to enable the waveform mode. Now I’m having difficulty allowing users to click on the waveform to skip back and forth along the audio file.
I’ve been tinkering for long enough to ask for help, haha.
Amazing how responsive you are! I appreciate this so much.
I hadn’t seen your demo page, but it’s apparent that clicking to move the audio playback is functioning on your demo - I just need to get mine to function similarly.
