We’re generally quick to criticize Bubble but let’s give credit where due.
- Flusk. It took them a month to sort my issues and while I can at least now access the app it’s still only partially working. Nonetheless, this is an excellent tool from a compliance perspective. Well done guys.
- Changelog. I still do not have access but again, a major improvement when you have teams of devs and audit requirements. I look forward to being able to use this.
- Having played a bit with Bolt.new my advice to Bubble is this. The challenge with Bolt is that you still need to be a full stack dev to fix the AI’s issues which increase exponentially as the app gets more complex. Bubble is in the unique position where it already has the no-code overlay. If you can implement an AI assistant in a similar way to Bolt, merged with your visual editor and issue checker, I’m positive Bubble will be in a league of its own.
