I am running bubble on a free plan and 6 months back I had purchased a plugin with a one-time payment (not monthly subscription).

However I suddenly see that it is mentioning the following in the plugin page:
“This plugin is a paid plugin, please click here to buy a license or subscribe to it”.

Has anyone encountered such an issue of late? Kindly help if you can. Thanks!

I wonder if it’s because you are on a free plan? For new apps, at least, they don’t let you purchase plugins unless you’re on a paid Bubble plan, so maybe it’s related.

Thank you for the response. I have been on a free plan from the beginning, and this one-time paid plugin was working fine till i would say end of December last year. Not sure if bubble has changed its policy form this year, did not hear anything about it though.
Also was thinking of contacting the vendor with the purchase history but cannot find any such purchase history anywhere :pensive:

I’ve had several plugin customers contact me about this issue over the past few days. There appears to be a bug with Bubble.

Similar forum post from a couple of days back:

There’s nothing the plugin creator can do I’m afraid. I recommend filing a bug report with Bubble.

Let me know how you get on! I haven’t received much details from Bubble on what went wrong, so curious if you hear any more when you submit a report.

I have raised a bug report now. Initially the support person said paid plugins are for one app instance only, but when i informed that it was working before, he promised to investigate and revert. Let’s wait to hear more.

To address the issue where my permanently licensed plugins were suddenly deactivated, leaving my clients unable to use them smoothly, I had no choice but to temporarily subscribe to these plugins just to get them installed.

After Bubble’s technical team finally identified the problem and resolved it by reconfiguring the plugins, they instructed me to cancel the subscriptions so that these plugins would revert to their original permanent license status.

However, what’s absurd is that I am still required to pay for the temporary subscriptions up until the cancellation date. I didn’t even ask for any form of compensation…

This is truly outrageous and unfair.
