Pricing to Sign Up to Payment

I’m trying to get this workflow to work for purchasing my SaaS but I don’t know how. Here it is:
Someone clicks on the payment plan they want > they are brought to the sign up page > they pay for the plan that they had chosen 2 pages prior.

I’m not sure if this is the best workflow and I also am unsure of how to get the plan information to the third page in this sequence. If anyone could suggest a different workflow that is better or a way to make this work that would be fantastic.

If you wanted to take this approach, you could use URL parameters to help determine the plan they want.

Do you want users to only be signed up after they pay? Or before?

I would typically do this:

User signs up
Select plans
Pays for plan
Onboarding

I guess my issue is that I have the pricing page visible to users before signing up so the can see if it is worth it to purchase my SaaS. Do you think it is better to have a separate price page from a almost identical price page that takes them to the stripe payment?

No, that’s fine. If it’s on a pricing page, you can pass in a URL parameter during sign up that indicates what plan they selected, they sign up, then are redirected to stripe to start their subscription
