Hi,
I’m using the @ZeroqodeSupport Air Native plugin. I have it configured to send Push notifications from AirNative to OneSignal.
IOS works ok. The user gets the notification on their iPhone.
Android is failing. The users are subscribed, and they have notifications turned on.
I followed the configuration as per:
Any ideas?
Thanks,
can you open the error and send the screen shot of error it self.
I figured it out.
I created a second project as part of troubleshooting another issue. Looks like the new project introduced this issue. Once I reverted to the original project, it worked ok.
“A OneSignal SenderId mismatch, usually for Android, means your app’s code has a different Firebase Sender ID than what OneSignal expects, often due to using an old legacy project or mixing environments (Sandbox/Prod); you fix it by ensuring your app uses the exact same Sender ID from your Firebase project, migrating to the FCM v1 API if needed, and checking your OneSignal App Settings for the correct “Android Sender ID,” reopening the app to refresh tokens, or contacting OneSignal support if issues persist. “

Hi @jeffrey.j.obrien,
Thanks for sharing the update and solution — we really appreciate you taking the time to document it
Glad to hear you were able to identify the cause and resolve the issue by reverting to the original Firebase project and matching the Sender ID. This will definitely help other users who run into similar OneSignal / Android push notification issues.
Wishing you a great weekend and happy upcoming holidays
Regards,
