Qustions about the Mobile App builder

I’m looking for help with Bubble. I’ve recently started building a business mobile app in Bubble and am having trouble with the database. Simply put I want to create an order with several fields that will be filled as the costumer moves through the app. So far, the costumer can select a store and the stores name and address are uploaded just fine with the Create Data Thing function. But, once the costumer needs to put in their data Make Changes to a Thing doesn’t work at all. The fields I want to fill aren’t even options, and when I try bringing them up it says its a list. There seems to be no ability for one page to communicate with any other, nor dose it seem to be possible to draw from Databases or Option Sets without a list. Even using the Check Box to simply turn something on and off seems to be beyond its capability. If anyone can tell me what I’m missing that would be great.

Well actually between views you can communicate and how.. it’s called view property.. you can set it and drag data from one side to the other. As far as saving is concerned, there is probably a basic error. Did you take a look at the documentation? It’s very well done and explains step by step how to use everything

Thank you for your reply Mario.

In truth when I started I didn’t realize that the Mobile App maker was in open Beta. So I expected it to have the same functionality as the main Web Sight maker. I’ve mostly been watching tutorials, of which there are very that cover the new Mobile system, which is understandable. I’ve to find anyone telling how to get Google Maps to work in Mobile. I haven’t really looked for any documentation as the links I’ve used from the build page have led to things that work for the web builder, but I assume have yet to be implemented in Mobile, such as Drop Down Lists. I admit much of my trouble has been from my own ignorance. For a while I didn’t understand why the Search For Data Type feature always turned red, which was preventing me from accessing the data in the Data Types. The most frustrating thing so far has been the fact that Make Changes to a Thing… doesn’t seem to work. And, from what I’ve found on the forums, hasn’t worked for a while. But, I’ve found a work around by adding Datatype pages that hold data to be repeatedly deleted and updated without altering the data in the main database. Right now I’m working on a copy and paste feature.
