Hi gents.
So in the last week I’ve dug in and learned a lot though nothing compared to the experts. So after building a few pages with bubble and satisfying myself it’s capable of doing what I want, the big outstanding items were financial calculations and serious reporting capability. Back to the drawing board to figure out azure sql and getting a connector up. That solved its back to rebuilding my groups. I’ve managed to connect a repeating group but try as I may, I’m not able to get a normal group to make a call based on a parameter passed from the previous page url and return one record. Yup, I haven’t figured out the parameter passing bit so I’m handing url parameters over… Probably I’m doing something really stupid so if there’s anyone out there that can share some wisdom or an example of a working group linking to mssql I’ll be eternally grateful.
