Repeating group buttons with dropdown?

Hey Forum,

I have a repeating group going horizontal across the page. It shows buttons that allow someone to click to be taken to another page. I am having a bit of an issue with it now that I have more buttons than can show.

  1. I set the RG to fixed width so that the cell doesn’t get bigger than the buttons. When I do that it doesn’t show all of the buttons.
  2. when I turn off fixed width it makes the cell size larger than the button and that doesn’t look good.

Seeing as how I cant get this to work out for me I was wondering if anyone knew how to get a “group focus” like feature to work in a repeating group in a reusable element. I’ll show a few screenshots.

  1. This is what it looks like now with all of the above. I do have a group focus on the reusable element, but it’s tied to an actual element, not a button in a repeating group.

  2. I’m looking for something like this. This is something that was built on a different platform:

Does anyone have any ideas, I really like the buttons spanning the page like this.

Would using a group and collapsing its width allow for someone to click underneath it if need be?

Thank you in advance.

All the best,
Benjamin

You can add a reusable element inside the repeating group. Then in the reusable element you would add a group focus to it. Then the group focus will show up outside of the height of the horizontal repeating group. Hope that makes sense.

Here is an example:

Hope that helps!
