i have a repeating group called accommodations. The accommodation has categories (option sets) and years (option set) and categories. I did a schedule api on a list and backend workflow to create the accommodation. I am creating a repeating group. The group is accommodations, the source is search for accommodations grouped by name and category so they don’t duplicate. (the same accommodation can be set for multiple years, ex. 23-24, 24-25, 25-26). My question is how do I create the last column to show all of the years per the accommodation. please let me know if you need more information.
It has two categories, one is an option set and the second is what?
Why do you have it setup like that?
I think you need to revisit how the data is structured. Firstly, I do not believe you need two fields of category. Secondly, I do not believe you need multiple entries of the same accommodation in order to store different year values. Lastly, you do not need to use Group By if data structure is handled properly.
Accommodation is a data type, have a field that is category (option set) and field called years (list of numbers). Do a search for Accommodation and filter by category if you want, and for the ‘last column’ show the list of number fields that is years.
