Resize shape with text box

Hey everyone,

I have a multiline input that is above a shape background. I would like the shape background to respond to the multiline input; the input has been checked to “stretch to fit” and grouped with the background, however, that doesn’t work.

Is there a solution to stretch or resize the shape with the multiline input?
