Responsive layout (beta)

but they take space and don’t allow other elements to use it even when the floating group get’s invisible. Is there a workaround to this? Please take a look at the page I shared https://visito.bubbleapps.io/version-test/apply?debug_mode=true

That isn’t “responsive” that is “rubbish”.

According to my 8 year old user tester !

Now that Responsive Layout is pretty much out of beta and the default engine for all new apps, are there any Responsive Layout tutorials available yet (lessons or videos)?

Here’s a video I found very useful (not created by Bubble)

We’re going to do a video soon to explain the different options, we’ll push that in a few days.

Great tutorial. Thanks for recommending it, @geoff.byron!

Left side still occupies the space even after the left sidebar is hidden. How to collapse the element height after it is hidden? It can be done with groups but there is no option for floating groups.

You can’t collapse width as far as I know. If there’s a way to make the shapes fill in to the left or right, I’d love to hear it!

We are also looking for similar solution. Collapse right to left.

Have you tried the “animate” conditions/actions? I’ve used it for a menu.
