I thought I had this set up right. I have ensured that the extractor is in the RG level. Can someone point out where I have gone wrong?
Hi there,
I can’t see for sure that your Extractor is in the Repeating Group, can you point out where that RG is? Additionally, when you setup the columns in RGExtractor, you point them to which element in that row (cell) you are pulling data from. It might be an input or a value.
you helped me realize what I was doing wrong, it was the expression. However, what I want to do is extract a line of text and all I can figure is how to work with numbers. If I want to pull the text result of a dropdown do you know what expression I would use?
So it depends on what type of content you are displaying in the dropdown - is it text, is it a number, is it a data type, or is it an option set? If you can include a screenshot of the properties window / data source of the dropdown that would help, and then screenshots of how the RG Data and RG Extractor are setup.
I worked out I didnt need a RG after all in the spot I was in. I kinda do now tho, I could work around it but it would be fairly confusing.
Same thing, I need to get data from an Input in and RG to an input outside an RG.
I have been able to do an expression - is not empty and got a result, so I am thinking the connection is working.
