Saving a restore point to a new branch

I’m a single developer working in Bubble. I did a restore point a few days ago prior to making major changers to my Bubble application. After getting deep into the changes I realized I need to make changes to the current live version before I will complete testing the current modifications I have done. I should have created a new branch and started working on the new changes in the new branch but didn’t think about it until now.

Is it possible to create a new branch and restore the restore point to that new branch or create a new branch and copy over all my changes to that new branch and restore to the original developer branch? Just trying to figure out if I can end up with one branch that has the development as of the restore point and another branch that has all the changes I made in the last few days so I have both development environments available to test and update live with as needed.

Unless you’re on a subscription other than Growth/Starter, you can make additional branches and merge. Otherwise, you’re out of luck. Typical Bubble ploy to get more monay.

My trick:

Duplicate your app at certain points (I don’t buy plugins though so I’m not sure how that’ll work).

I am actually on the Growth plan so I can make as many branches (up to 10) that I need. The restore point I created was for MAIN and that is where all my development was done. I’m assuming if I restore MAIN that overwrites all branches? Can I restore MAIN and still keep the current changes in one of the new branches i created?
