I need to use xCode to do the high resolution screenshots for the Apple App store.
How is anyone doing this for BDK Native?
I have the .apk file and was able to use the Simulator in Android Studio no problem. App is all ready to do in the Play Store.
BDK isn’t getting back to me with the .ipa or .app file so I can do the same in xCode.
Any tips?
I resized the browser window to the appropriate dimensions, screen grabbed, and then used appscreens.com to make them fancy.
Thank you!!
You did? Ok, maybe I can do that. Did you have the proper resolution? As in… is the browser higher res than what’s needed? I also am using apscreens and it’s great!
I’m just worried I won’t have the right resolution (even if the pics are the right size) and it’ll be blurry or not look good on the super super high resolution displays on the latest phones. Is that not an issue?
Also, what did you do about the browser chrome? (the buttons/menus associated with the browser). If you cut that out, the dimensions of the images are wrong
Did not have any issues with resolution, you can probably output a sample from app screens and view on a tablet device to see how it looks if it’s a concern.
I use a chrome extension that resizes the visible screen to whatever dimensions I want, so I can’t recall any particularly issues with dimensions being off.

Ahhhh! A plugin/extension to get the right screen size!! Brilliant! Thank you! I’ll give this a try since BDK hasn’t answered my question about this in 4 days. Thanks!

I took screenshots on my iPhone for the iPhone screenshots.and then used Safari’s responsive viewer to make them for the iPad dimensions.
See my listing here for reference on how it turned out: Run This on the App Store
