Search function in same page

Thanks for reading this! I am new to this as most people on here asking for help start their post off, and if someone would help me here it would be awesome. I’ve gone through all the tutorials and googled all types of possibilities but with no luck.

Well, I’m currently trying to make a search function on the admin page of my app that you type in a username and it displays most of the that user information from the data base on a group below the search input bar and search button.

Have an input and a repeating group set to type user. The data source is “do a search for” and constrain it to the value of the input. Within the RG, you can display whatever information you like that is on the user. If you don’t what the RG to display all the users, which it does if the input is empty, have a button that shows the RG when it’s clicked.
