Searchbox input display | responsive | content wider than searchbox

Hi,

I’m using a Searchbox input for my users to type in their address using prefer resluts around + radius. It works fine and does what I am expecting.

However my Searchbox has a fixed width (200px) and very often the content (address) is wider than 200px and does not fully display in the Searchbox even with a non-fixed height >> I was expecting some sort of address wrapping to be displayed on 2 lines instead of one but it always remain on 1 single line.

The dropdown (group focus) offering addresses possibilities has addresses wrapped correctly so that the user can see them in full. At least this part works as expected :+1:t2:

Did anyone find a workaround or tip to adapt the Searchbox value display to small Searchbox width?

I don’t think it would be possible as the search box is like the input element where everything is on a single line.

You might want to ask Bubble support, but they may ask you to post it to the idea board.

Not sure if there is some plugin that could do it or custom code.
