Position: Part-Time Contract Bubble Developer

Location: Remote (US-Based)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bubble developer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with our lead developer to implement user feedback, fix bugs, and push new features as needed. This role can grow into a full-time position with benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our support and success team to fix bugs identified in the platform and push new feature requests from users.
  • Work with our backend data team to identify and debug data issues based on user feedback and testing. Trace problems from the front-end app to our upstream data sources and communicate findings to backend developers for resolution.
  • Develop and implement new features on the platform.
  • Help QA test new updates and features to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Effectively communicate with the team via Slack to provide updates on bugs and new feature implementations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience with Bubble.
  • Strong knowledge of backend workflows and the API connector.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify, diagnose, and fix bugs effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail with a strong QA mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide timely and clear updates.
  • General knowledge of how the creator economy or music industry works is preferred

Contract Details:

  • Position: Part-Time Contractor
  • Potential for transition to full-time based on performance.

It’s nice to meet you! My name is Jonah and I’m reaching out regarding the part time position on the bubble forums. I have been a full-time bubble developer since 2021 and I’ve been coding since 2018. I have traditional web development experience - my combining this experience with my bubble skills, I can create really complex bubble apps with the help of custom plugins (code) when necessary.

From Fintech applications to creating apps for viewing construction blueprints online, I’ve done a lot with bubble. I have a ton of experience with the API connector as well as making webhooks too.
