Hi I have a critical problem in my LMS app, and I hope someone can help me figure it out.
I use theCreate An Account For Someone Else to preregister users to our app, followed by Send password reset email. It has worked like a dream for a long while, but suddenly it stopped sending emails. I have checked if anything changed by accident in the workflow - but that is not the issue.
We’ve had our sendgrid key active for forever, but we’re still having the same issue. Did you have to do anything specific past having the sendgrid api key put into the settings in the bubble app?
While setting up my Sendgrid account, it asked me to add some CNAME and TXT entries into my DNS provider. That might be a step you overlooked. Even then, someone else said it wasn’t working for them until they removed their domain names from those entries–for example, shortening s1._domainkey.yourdomain.com to s1._domainkey
The outage, by the way, might be fixed. The Bubble status page now reads, " Monitoring - We have implemented a tentative fix which we hope will alleviate the email issues. We still recommend apps get their own API key for Sendgrid. Mar 01, 2025 - 17:43 EST"
