I was hoping someone could either validate my thinking or point me to a tutorial on a different approach.
Here goes:
I have basically two user roles and I have one common dashboard. most of the information is within groups within the target area for information to be displayed and based on a selection in the menu will be visible or hidden. What I was thinking I would do is in my hidden variables group have one that the data type and source are not set by default and then “send that roles data type” when the user clicks on the dashboard. I think this will work, but before I head down that path I wanted to make sure this could be done…
