Sharing apps to others for preview

On Bubble web today, we can simply share the link to others to preview. How would this for mobile apps?

Does a new collaborator have to be added to the project for them to be able to preview the app using BubbleGO? This seems like the answer for a developer-client scenario, but what of when I just want to share a mobile app for anyone to preview?

Would there, maybe, be a way to make an app publicly accessible via BubbleGO, so that anyone can view? Or would it be a ‘Testflight’ approach where we’d have to invite people to the app as viewers? Curious to know how y’all are thinking about it.

That’s definitely what Testflight is for, but you’ve gotta get all the way to the point of being ready to publish (not release, but at least publish) to the app stores. Play Store has a similar concept.

One downside to that: The published app will always be the Live database.

I also have clients that I’ve already transferred the app to, so they have Bubble accounts - in those cases, I may talk them through how to preview or use BubbleGo.

Thanks for flagging - I’ll note a feature request for investigation about being able to share an app preview via bubblego. In the mean time, Testflight would be the way to go for ios builds (if you are ok using live data)

Sharing for preview via web (allowing the customer to see what we can see on the web runmode) would be sufficient for us in most cases. Of course won’t handle everything though.
