Should I create a page for each state my site provides services in

Hi,

I have an app that is a free national service for reporting honey bee swarms to beekeepers. I’m thinking of creating a page for all 50 states, with my reporting form on it, as well as information about beekeeping laws and common practices in that state as a way of boosting local SEO.

Does this make sense, is there a better way to organize state by state pages like this?

Thanks!

No need to create a page for every state. You can create a single page with dynamic data.

You can show the corresponding information using url parameters

What would be the upside of this? Would this still be good for SEO?

I thought I’d want a URL and scrapable keywords for each state.

I don’t know that much about SEO but I’m positive it would be better than having 50 pages. Plus, you won’t have the headache of managing 50 pages.

Each state would have a different slug so you’d be fine. It could be like yourdomain.com/state/alaska where state is the page name and you would be displaying the corresponding data based on the third path (alaska)

Got it, thanks!
