Hello, thanks for template is great!
I am trying to adapt it for motels in my city but I need to create reservations not by days but by hours in certain day, I need to reserve time slots by the hour and and put an hourly price and of course charge in the base of that .
Could you please give me some guidence just to add/modify that to the template which is perfect for everyhing else???
Thanks a lot!
This template already supports chat between hosts and guests. You can find it on the Inbox page.
In order to convert the booking system to an hourly one, there are several crucial steps that you need to take. Here are a few of the most important ones:
Allow guests to specify check-in time and checkout time. This allows you to calculate the fee based on hours. You can do this on the date input on the ‘rooms’ page by selecting ‘Date & Time’.
Change the accommodation price from daily rate to hourly. You can just change the relevant copies on the app, including the price setup on the ‘become-a-host’ page.
Update the fee calculation from daily to hourly. Go to ‘rooms’ page. Click on the element ‘Group Subtotal’. This is where the subtotal is calculated. Click on ‘:format as days’ and select ‘:format as hours’ instead.
Thank you for creating and sharing this template. I’m having an issue where I can’t seem to logout. Each time I attempt to logout the site will refresh and log me back in. Has anyone experienced this?
I added an auto-login workflow on the home page so demo visitors can experience the full demo.
You can easily delete it:
You’re amazing! Thank you!
Hi! Thank you for the template it looks great!
I am working on an hourly booking platform and I did see your reply regarding the change to hourly but is it possible to create input “Date” + Time/Time" instead of “Date/time”.
More like the “User chooses date > user chooses check-in and check-out time”
Something like how peerspace does it:
This is how you can add the check-in and check-out time:
Thanks for the fast response. Can you please explain the second step with a screenshot (if you don’t mind) or somehow cause this is my first time using bubble and kinda stuck
This is how you can create a dropdown with time options
Hi there, I am newbie here, playing around on Nalfe template (airbnb clone) where I faced the moment wher I need to do test and modification by other users rather than default one, but I am not able to create one in database, neither it allows me to log out. The strangest thing, that in database all users there is 0 users in the table. Where is the trick? does it mean that I will need to buy services from Nalfe to enable me for proceeding further?
The template is completely free to use.
Are you looking at the database on the Live version? It may be empty before your first deployment. You should be able to create and see users on the Development version of your app. You can toggle between Live and Development version by clicking the “Branch” button on the top right corner of your editor.
Hi, i’m quite confused about the workflows of your amenities section, could you please walk me through the process? it looks to me the there is a group over the repeating group. if you have a tutorial on the entire thing would be even more awesome haha
Can you share a link or a screenshot of where you are struck? Amenities are featured on quite a few pages.
i’m curious about the workflow with your style, and how the host can save the updated edits. thanks!
I am also having a hard time finding the Icons for Property Type and Amenities. Where are they stored? There is nothing in the file manager so I dont know where the Option Sets are pulling from for the Icon images. Thank you the help and love the template!
Hi @edtyli9. This is a really great template - much appreciated!
I am making a marketplace for booking wellness retreats, and although this template isn’t quite right for that, it’s the only NICE looking template I have found within the travel / tour section (IMO).
Is there a way to make it that the Host can set the duration of the retreat (ACCOMMODATION), rather than it being an ‘open calendar’? So the Host sets the retreat as 4 days '15th-19th Sept) and then the Guest books it?
Thanks,
Tom
Great template! Do you have a user guide? Would make it easier to setup over reviewing everyone’s comments. Thanks! @ edtyli9
