I want to add the user to a new Slack channel once the user completes the form and click submit.

However, this msg appears when I do it with test accounts.

How can I avoid this?

That error is thrown because your Current User is yourself. Slack doesn’t allow you to invite yourself to a channel via API.

I tested this by using another Slack member’s User ID.
