I’m trying to build a little tool that uses the FFMPEG library but sometimes it times out when converting a video file into a MP3 file. Does anyone have a good alternative, workaround or solution to this? Running it client-side doesn’t really work with this library I think.
server side actions are not meant to be used for long processes. you probably need to run that conversion in another backend

I would agree with @dorilama on this. I came across something similar-ish recently and found the best solution to be:
- Run the conversion on AWS Lambda/Google Cloud/your provider of choice
- Call your AWS function from Bubble
- Set up a backend workflow to receive the converted file once your function has completed the job
- Send the converted file from AWS to this backend workflow
This means your function can take as long as it needs and you don’t need to worry about timeout issues.
