SSA timing out! Any workarounds?

I’m trying to build a little tool that uses the FFMPEG library but sometimes it times out when converting a video file into a MP3 file. Does anyone have a good alternative, workaround or solution to this? Running it client-side doesn’t really work with this library I think.

server side actions are not meant to be used for long processes. you probably need to run that conversion in another backend

I would agree with @dorilama on this. I came across something similar-ish recently and found the best solution to be:

Run the conversion on AWS Lambda/Google Cloud/your provider of choice
Call your AWS function from Bubble
Set up a backend workflow to receive the converted file once your function has completed the job
Send the converted file from AWS to this backend workflow

This means your function can take as long as it needs and you don’t need to worry about timeout issues.
