Storing Data such as email records

Just wondering if anyone else would be happy to share how long they hold certain data for. Email records being an example. Users send emails via the app but I’m wondering how long you hold that data on the Bubble database for users to be able to retrieve?

Obviously keeping in line with data protection laws I’ll keep the backup of the records elsewhere, but what’s best practice for user retrieval?

I would say forever, but realistically till however long you specify in your privacy policy?

Take Postmark as an example, they retain for 30 days by default, but you can purchase an add-on for a custom period of time. Then after that time it’s deleted.
