Stripe metered billing setup

Hello,
I need help getting the stripe metered billing api setup. I am building an app that is using usage based billing. I have built the meter is products. I have the api curl ready to connect but the connection will not complete. The documentation has not been helpful and the logs keep telling me different things to change. I have connected other apis and they work fine. The stripe api states I need to add my secret key and customer Id but is that added into the curl code or is that added to the api connector in bubble? If you have a good tutorial you could share I appreciate it or any other guidance. Thanks
