Tagging - Not supported with Rich Text Input?

Hi all,

Has anyone found a more elegant solution to user tagging?

I’ve found issue with the Tagger plugin by Airdev in that it doesn’t support Rich Text elements when extracting tags.

Is there a better alternative plugin you can recommend?

We have a great solution for this within out platform - it’s taken a lot of dev!
The trouble is that it’s built on Froala which is a paid-for WYSIWYG.
If we were to rebuild this on a free WYSIWYG framework, would you have a preference as to which?

It being paid isn’t too much of an issue if it works :slight_smile:

I wouldn’t really have a framework preference, just one that is clean looking and modern.

The key features I’d look for though would be:

  • Tag users (do a search for users)
  • Event to trigger actions when a user is tagged.
