Not sure this is a bug, but I’ve got some solid Bubble experience and it sure seems like it…

Out of the blue, I’m seeing a number of errors on various text elements referencing that fact that “this element cannot be seen by the current element as it is in a cell of a Repeating Group.”

Have never encountered this issue before, and the app was completely clear of issues as of a week ago (no changes have since been made). The text element in question is not revealed in the editor when I select it in the inspector, so I can’t even identify exactly where the error exists.

Very confused by this and could use some assistance ASAP.

We just pushed a fix to the issue checker that wasn’t showing some errors. What this error means is that from where you’re using this expression, this element cannot be ‘seen’. For instance, if you have an input ‘Input A’ in a repeating group, and from the outside try to refer ‘Input A’, Bubble will not be able to figure out which input to look at, as there will be more than one. If you are in the same cell the expression would be able to see it In general, you can’t build expressions with elem…

Take a look at the response from emmanuel explaining about this. I think what you are experiencing is a similar issue.

It is also, I think, generating some incorrect errors when referring to a repeating groups “list of items”.
