Of course, end of 2023.. and the alphas left around September October 2024 if I remember correctly.. I think they had some unforeseen events and it’s normal seeing what the results were..
I entered the private beta in mid-January 2025 and I assure you that since then some non-giant steps have been made, much more. So I think the implementation is close.. let’s be positive come on!
Lol…agree, but I am all-in on native. I think it’s amazing.
We have internal timelines and predictions so we can plan our business around it. I shared those. Those timelines are built around everything we know with bubble.
We can’t do positive vibes for real world planning.
@nick.carroll Thanks for the update and transparency. Like I said in my last comment. I want to keep using Bubble despite my team advising otherwise. Our major bottle neck has been mostly on Performance, especially Android Performance. We still have apps take 8-15sec to load from the splash screen. I know this is better than 25-30sec earlier this year. Sometimes Icons wont show, sometime List views take a few seconds to populate.
Most, if not all of this is beyond our control. What is Bubble doing on Android Performance?
P.S
I just recently learnt from support that Xiomi Redmi phone are not supported. What is Bubble doing to support some wide older android phone that still run updated Versions like above 10,11&12?
For those who have already published an app, the extension is available. Those who want to publish their first one don’t have access to it yet, if I’m not mistaken. So they can’t get new users to publish their first app
@nick.carroll Thank you for all the update
As a team, we are doing a lot of deliberation on a better way to communicate with our clients, whom one of them have a big event next month, and will result in having many user signups on the mobile app (iOS and Android).
To be candid with them on Android timeline, is there any ETA, or Timeframe we expect to see a positive performance difference on where Android is today or on par with iOS?
