Tips for Optimizing Upwork Profile as a Beginner Bubble Developer

Hey Bubble Community

I’ve been learning and building with Bubble over the past few months, and I’m really enjoying the process so far. I’ve recently created an Upwork profile to start offering my services as a Bubble developer, and I’m now looking to attract my first few clients.

Since I’m still new to freelancing and Upwork, I had a few queries

  1. What are the best ways to showcase Bubble projects on my profile as an Upwork beginner?
  2. Are there any tips on picking the right type of Bubble-related jobs to apply for as a beginner?
  3. Any advice on building a strong portfolio that Upwork clients usually look for?

Any tips and tricks that you are willing to share are appreciated.

It is not an easy question to answer. It depends on many factors. Getting good at building apps professionally ASAP. Free or low cost works is a good starting point.

id say its super difficult now, theres a lot of competition

make your profile simple.

do not focus on making money in first year or two but on getting jobs/reviews, no matter the money.

my approach to get a job would be to dm every bubble agency that i will work for free for them for 2 weeks and if they like what they see, to hire me and start with a really low price. again focus on experience not money in year 1.
