I’m building a fishing waypoint app (map with custom pins tied to a database of locations/photos). I installed the Map - Leaflet plugin (currently at version 2.2.1, latest) to get around the native Google Map element not displaying custom markers properly.
Problem: After installing the plugin, it shows correctly under Plugins → Installed Plugins, with its full element/action list (Map element, Add Marker, Remove Marker, etc.) visible on the plugin’s own page. But the Leaflet Map element never appears anywhere in the Visual Elements panel on the design page — only the native “Map” (Google) element shows up, no matter where I look in the sidebar.
What I’ve tried so far, with no change:
- Hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R)
- Searching “map” and “leaflet” in both the top element search bar and the elements panel
- Scrolling through the entire Visual Elements / Containers / Input forms / Authentication / Reusable elements sections looking for a second Map entry or leaf icon
- Starting a completely fresh, blank app and installing Leaflet there first, before any other elements or data
- Testing in a second, different browser entirely
The plugin consistently shows as installed, but its element just never surfaces in the editor. Has anyone run into this specific issue, and if so, what fixed it?
