Too complex for responsive engine?

Can you make a page to complex, nested groups inside of groups with Repeating groups, etc. that when you go to the responsive viewer, it only shows the outermost groups with no detail as to what is inside and no way to get to specific elements inside the groups for managing the responsive settings?

I have a header group and one large group that has everything else nestled inside. Inside that group there are two groups, one responsive and one fixed (data table).

But all I see when I got to the responsive engine is:

here is the builder view:

I dont really want to rebuild the page from scratch, so trying to avoid that.

A few ponderings:

1 I tend to be anal about tight groups, 2-5px margins on nesting and and sometimes 0 margin in repeating groups inside a group. Does this mess with responsiveness?

2 We have a lot of plugins in the page, and a ton of math.js elements, any of these things cause responsive problems?

3 Other simpler pages in the site act as normal in the responsive view, so assuming it is specific to this page.

4 Any thoughts on why elements are not showing? I went through and insured the only things that are marked fixed width are the items I want to stay put, data tables, etc.

I hope I am just naive to the responsive engine and missing a facepalm level issue.

Thanks

Craig

That’s a weird problem. I don’t think number of elements would break that. Here’s an example for Zeroqode’s template:

Try duplicating this page? Logging out and back in?

Thanks - I have of course tried all these things. I am probably going to try rebuilding it and seeing what happens. It is a few hours I dont want to do…

I seem to have isolated the issue to a plugin on the page. If I remove the plugin, the page goes responsive in the responsive browser, so must be some sort of conflict with that plugin.

Will report back if I find it is something that we did in the plugin.
