Hi, is it possible to create a simple app that we can integrate with a kiosk for a grocery store, that lets users type what products they want, and it says what aisles they’re in.
Hi, simple answer yes!
Thanks! Is there a specific method of integrating a Bubble app with a kiosk?
Bubble is used in order to build a web app, which is essentially a fancy interactive website tied to a database. A better question, rather than asking how to use Bubble with a kiosk, is how to lock a kiosk onto just one website. Start there with your research and then circle back around to Bubble when you’re ready to start building!
Windows 10/11 as well as android have made it easy with “kiosk mode” configurations.
There’s also a lot of 3rd party services that take the hassle out.
Def something bubble can handle if you config kiosk correct.
Then once you solve the Kiosk issue, some suggestions would be:
- The app has nice large scale, UX, fits on the tablet model(s) you are going to use.
- Design it as a SPA (Single page app) so it is quick to navigate different “screens”
- Might want some logic that force-logs out every night and the staff re-logs in every morning
