Unable to access a thing's thing?

I thought being able to write these expressions were super powerful, and you could drill down to a thing’s thing’s thing’s data if you needed so quickly and easily. But it’s not working like I expect. What am I doing wrong?

Below, the “Refresh token” variable is returning blank, so I tried to figure out why.

Expression:

I started printing variables and found that the “Jobber Account’s Unique Id” would print, but the “Jobber Account’s Account owner’s connection’s Unique Id” would not.

However you can see below the “Account owner connection” is not blank

So there is a bust there, even though that field is not empty. What’s going on?

You’re asking about the Account owner connections’s Unique ID?

But there’s nothing in your screenshot referencing that?
