Understanding "Back end" question

Can anyone explain how the “back end” of a Bubble app works or point me to a resource that explains it “like I’m 5”.
I’ve never coded before but I’m fine with Access mdbs so I need to understand where app data ends up and how I see it. The end result of my idea is going to require some kind of dashboard to answer user queries but I can’t even find sample data I’ve input so far.

Thanks. I’ve done all the tutorials. They’re great on how to build but I want to understand more about where the data ends up.
I’ll look more into the data tab - so far any test data I’ve added on a test app hasn’t showed up there.

You’re right. I think there’s a delay and I’m too impatient so my test data wasn’t there when I looked and refresh did nothing. It’s there now though.
