Upcoming Changes to Backend Workflow Location

For the love of God please fix the issue with switching to backend tab collapsing everything in the editor, its infuriating.

Apart from doing a +1 to the request that everyone has that switching between tabs shouldn’t reset everything, I also have another request if you can attend to it.

Can we move the position of Backend Workflows icon to somewhere bit down?

The thing is both Page workflows and Backend workflows are next to each other right now and I don’t know how many times I have clicked on Backend workflow by mistake while I wanted to click on page workflow. Both of these are essentially same, so if they are together with very similar icons as well, the misclicks happen quite a few times.

And because the page gets reset on tab change, it is even more costly mistake to click on the wrong tab.

YES!!! Extremely annoying and frustrating…There is nothing to declare visually which workflows tab you are in on the actual view of the workflows…should have a large bolded header that says “backend workflows” or “page workflows”.

The only thing I’ve seen recently that is good to have back is the ability to use our browser back button to navigate back and forth from where we were previously…hopefully they do not remove this again and keep it forever…best way to navigate quickly in the editor by far

Oh thanks for informing. I had not realised. I had stopped using it since it stopped working. It is essential indeed.

Amen. And the ability to open in a new tab using right click would be very helpful and very easy to implement (instead of duplicating a tab and then going to desired location in origjnal tab)

Anyone test this? It’s so close to workflow tab that I’ve switched multiple times on accident to backend workflows and it causes such a waste of time waiting for it to load…then moving back over to the workflows. Repeat and rinse.

Does anyone test this thing on live apps?

For the time being you can install a chrome extention to modify the backend workflow button.
