Update a value to a linked table

I have a page that’s content is “Employer” with fields such as Name/Address/Etc.

On this same page I have a group that’s datasource is “Agent” with fields in it such as Name, ID, Type. Agents are affiliated with Employers (Agent is linked to Employer (Parent group’s employer Agent))

Everything works well in terms of:

1. display of agent and employer fields and
2. updates (change employer thing) to Employer, but how do I update the agent info? There doesn’t seem to be a way to change the Agent thing…I can’t seem to figure out how to update the agent through the linkage through Employer.

Ideas?

Can’t you just use a Make Changes to a thing workflow and input Group Agent’s Agent (or Parent Group’s Employer’s Agent) as the thing you want to change?
