I’ve made a few posts about Native App updates being exceedingly dodgy/unreliable - and here’s just another issue my users are running into. As soon as my app is installed from the app store, the user is instantly being asked to refresh/update their app. I have tried this on multiple devices but the issue remains the same. Please help bubble team - this is surely a priority number one when it’s the first thing users encounter @nick.carroll
Same issue here. This occur after some OTA. For the user experience the first time the user open the app, it would be better to update it without asking.
@nick.carroll Can we please get this looked at?!? It’s literally asking our users to refresh the app as soon as they download it from the app store! I have a bug report opened.
Is the latest live version for your app an OTA update? I think what may be happening is the live version supporting the latest build number has been deprecated, so when the code is downloaded from the store, it doesn’t have the OTA yet. We are going to handle this better, but in the mean time, the workaround would be to submit a new build.
I have the same issue and the problem acerbates when there is a new built submitted because until it is approved by app stores the app will not be supported and does not open at all!
