I remember upgrading a plan a while back and realising I was double charged for things. From memory it was near the end of the month and I went from an agency plan to a paid plan. Pretty sure I got billed for the whole month, I can remember thinking that if I waited a couple of days it would have saved me a bunch of money.
Now I am upgrading a Growth Plan to a Team Plan and I am being asked a similar question. Can someone advise me whether I should wait another day or is this an arbitary message they display.
It’s exactly what it says. If you upgrade now, you’ll be charged the WU you incurred in July if that’s above your plan limits. You can wait until tomorrow to have it reset.
Looking at the documentation I gather that my billing day for my plan will be the same, the new plan will prorata and a discount will be given for unused days of the old plan.
However the WU are different, the workflow units go by the month.
Because my WU are less than the growth plan and the team plan has a lot more then I won’t be charged any extra. So going on the new plan today will have no affect?
