My client would like a forum/community feature for their app. My first thought is to just link to reddit or discord as opposed to building something custom in bubble. The other caveat is the bubble app sits in a webview for iOS and android users. Any suggestions or thoughts? - Thanks! - Chris

If it’s an MVP with a low budget, having a third-party platform for a community makes sense. If the budget is moderate, go for an integration with Discourse. Bubble has an integration:

If the budget is high, you can ofc build a custom one in the app itself

@chapapptive, it depends on the requirements. Bubble has everything to build a forum/community feature for your app in couple of hours (or a day) with categories, posts, replies and authorization.

If you need more advanced forum features, you can consider using external options. But those will never have the tight integration which is possible with both the app and the forum built in Bubble.

Thank you for your reply! I appreciate it.

Thank you for your reply! I am going to build something. I’m going to use this video as a guide: " How To Build A Reddit Clone With No-Code Using Bubble" by “Building with Bubble”: https://youtu.be/aFosrFDacpo?si=pgvQ7qG0trm9XsBD
