Hi there, feel like this would be easier to figure out, but I’m looking to add a feature where users can input their own external url addresses, and ideally once they do, these addresses become hyperlinks.
Is this possible in bubble? I’ve tried the “LINK visual element” but that relies on me (the developer) knowing and inputting the site url, not the user.
Yes! It can be done…
Create a new data type in your user’s database called “url” (text type). Than you can point your link to the user’s url.

This all comes down to how you format that link element where you show the user’s external URL address.
